Some of you may seen the post on 6speed by Champion, the car was in surgery again. A lot was done including brakes, seats, etc. Here is the list of parts:

-Stoptech STR kit Front & Rear
-RSS Lower Control Arms at Front
-Werks1 Plenum
-OEM GT2 Folding Buckets in cloth
-RSS Rollbar
-Willans 6 pt Harness
-Wevo Engine Mounts
-CCW C14 in 18" w/ Toyo RA1 245F/305R

It's a huge list, I know... I wanted to do all at once. Here are some pics Champion posted (I didn't have the chance to take some since I picked it up yesterday evening):

Attachment 1006
Attachment 1007
Attachment 1008
Attachment 1009

Here are my feelings on the car:

Handling: The car has always been handling well ever since I had Bilstein Damptronics and RSS Sways installed. When I (Champion crew actually :rolleyes2:) added the RSS Tarmac parts the car was amazing! If the tires (Bridgestone RE-11s) could hold it, the suspension was holding great on twisty turns on all tracks. So now I need to try the new Toyo RA1's and the new alignment along with it.

Brakes: Oh my God! What can I say about the brakes. You know sometimes stuff just happens in the blink of an eye, these brakes are similar. So I was in the back roads of Miami (no excess speed), I was doing about 30 mph or so and decided to try the brakes. I paid good money for them in the end, who could blame me for testing them? :) There is the moment where you step on the brake pedal, then there's the split second when you feel like your body is leaning forward and then there's the instant when the back of your head hits the seat. It is amazing! These brakes are strong and do not trip ABS or anything. Perfectly designed for our cars.

The seats, they are tight but not uncomfortable. I had a long drive back home with a lot of Friday rush hour traffic and heavy showers (typical Florida weather). They certainly are snug for track use. I don't think I'll be sliding around at when attacking corners at the tracks anymore :rolleyes2: They are quite comfy for buckets. A little heavy, but still lighter than the standard seats for sure. They look gorgeous!

The RSS Rollbar, what can I say about the roll bar. It should do the trick if God forbid anything happens. No creaking whatsoever. No problems. Reaching the rear windshield to clean might be an issue, but after Bryan's suggestion I decided to adopt an Oompa Loompa from the chocolate factory :rotfl:

It is always so easy to deal with Champion, from drop-off to pick up. Always friendly but professional nonetheless. When I dropped of my car, the rental was already waiting for me at the lot. It was all good... ;) I would suggest Champion to everyone without a doubt!

I will post more on the upgrades after a nice track day, in the end what can prove the improvements over real world lap times? Welcome to Renntrack, where every mod is track tested!

So i spent yesterday making a floorboard for my car, since now that its gutted the floor is not flat and my foot would get stuck sometimes (not cool).

I decided to use 1/8" aluminum for lightness.

Im not a fan of the diamond look, but I thought it would provide better grip than smooth aluminum.

I'm having second thoughts now that im done. maybe I'll pull it ut and make it out of black plastic (lighter).

The panel weighed 2 lbs.

Big ups to Work Wheels USA & City Tire in South Gate for the Professional PSS10 install, alignment, and careful wheel/tire mounting !

Took advantage of the hot summer day in So Cal for a quick shoot during my lunch break!

Finding the right color combination for Seal Grey is a task in itself.

But I think the Burning Black finish provides a nice compliment to it.

Feel free to critique

After running with Mobonic and many other Renn trackers at Laguna this weekend and still doing well setting track record of 1.41 for my class was awsome, but I'm realizing my totally stock C4s on slicks isn't the way to go faster or use all the tire on the track. I need control arms , sway bars, and some serious camber to start. Any advise on which ones to go with that are the best for the money for my all wheel drive car with litronic. Thanks.
