If that goes into a full interior car it's not going to make that much difference IMO because the car will be heavy to begin with. But if one made a full roll cage out of titanium in a gutted race car now THAT would be news!

I agree, great roll bar for a RS, that is used on the track to save more weight... but it would be awesome if someone made a full titanium cage in a stripped race/track car!

Maybe for a DE car it would make sense and is a much better plan than the carbon cages but it isn't legal for any racing so what is the point?

Glorified harness bar IMO, but better than nothing. Ti has better ductile/brittle transition than aluminum, so its not all bad. Any info on how much it weighs?

alum shoudn't be used as roll bar.
if it fails, it's catastrophic, i crash a lot of mt bikes, alum wont do you any good in roll bar application. when you roll, you roll more than once, not just one impact.
    mild steel is my choice.

    It sure looks cool though!

I'm also curious about the weight. Should be in the so-called "Limited Edition RS".

Wow! That is a significant weight saving!

Put a Ti exhaust and roll bar and you should save around 45 lbs compared to SS setup (let's not forget $20k price )
